This page is maintained by Arthur's Furniture Store to answer common security and privacy questions about how we run our online showroom. It describes the controls and practices currently in place and is not an independent certification or audit.

Checkout & payments

Orders are processed through Shopify's hosted checkout. Payment card details are entered on Shopify's secure pages and are never stored on our servers. Connections are encrypted in transit using TLS.

Hosting & platform

Our storefront is hosted on the Lovable platform, and product, order, and inventory data live in Shopify. We rely on these providers for infrastructure-level security controls in addition to our own practices.

Data we collect

To fulfill an order we collect the name, shipping address, email, and phone number you provide at checkout, plus the order details themselves. We use this information to process, ship, and support your order, and to send transactional updates.

Cookies & analytics

We use functional cookies and local storage to remember your cart and preferences. Aggregate analytics may be collected by our hosting and commerce providers to help us understand site performance.

Retention & deletion

Order records are retained as required for accounting, warranty, and tax purposes. You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the address below.

Report a security issue

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability affecting our store or customer data, please email us right away so we can investigate. Please avoid public disclosure until we've had a chance to respond.
